Joe Verbitski
Director of Finance & Accounting
Joe is the Director of Finance and Accounting at SIE and is primarily responsible for the overall financial performance of the company. Joe has an extensive background in Accounting and Finance with International and Defense-related experience.
Prior to joining Systems Innovation Engineering (SIE), Joe had served in multiple CFO roles over the past 18 years, most recently at Environmental Tectonics Corporation in Pennsylvania. Prior to that, Joe served as CFO/VP of Finance at Chemring Countermeasures US from 2006 - 2020, where he was responsible for both the financial and contractual performance of its Tennessee and Pennsylvania locations. He was instrumental in working with the state of Tennessee to secure a $50M expansion project to ensure meeting future operational demands, while working directly with the Department of Defense.
Joe also served as General Manager at the Chemring Pennsylvania site for multiple years, delivering expendable countermeasures which protect the assets of the US Department of Defense and its allies. Previously, Joe was a Controller at L-3 Communications, working with systems integration programs.
Joe has a B.S. degree in Accounting from LaSalle University, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Widener University.
